The War with Hell

In ancient times, Drakoria was a land where dragons ruled supreme. These creatures, dominated the skies and lands with their power. The realm was a haven for many mystical beings, each living in a delicate balance under the dragons watchful eyes. The dragons, while predatory, governed with a sense of order.

This peace was shattered when demonic beings from a distant, dark realm discovered Drakoria. Drawn by the dragons power, these corrupt beings sought to enslave and eradicate the dragons, coveting their strength to fuel their dark arts. They brought with them death and destruction, twisting the land's essence with their dark magic. The once prosperous realm was plunged into chaos as war erupted between the demon entities and the dragons, a conflict that almost annihilated the dragon species entirely. Just as the dragons faced the brink of extinction, a new force rose in Drakoria, the High Elven species. Led by their  ruler, King Laekin Zephyr, the High Elves were beings of wisdom and power, who sought to restore balance to the wartorn land. Recognizing the importance of the dragons to Drakoria's future, King Laekin created a plan. Through rituals and powerful magic, he forged a blood bond with the last of the great dragons, creating a connection that allowed them to share their strengths. This bond was the key to turning the tide of the war. The combined power of the dragon and the High Elf king birthed a mighty ward, a protective barrier infused with elemental magic. The ward enveloped Drakoria, isolating the demonic beings in a corner of the realm, where they were weakened by their vulnerability to water and fire, elements now mastered by King Laekin through his bond with the dragon.

With the demonscontained, the alliance between the dragons and High Elves became the foundation of a new era. Drakoria flourished under their combined rule, with the dragons serving as protectors and the High Elves as wise leaders. The bond between dragon and elf became a sacred tradition, passed down through generations of rulers, ensuring that the two species would forever stand united. As the kingdoms of Drakoria grew in strength and prosperity, they were combined into a powerful empire, with dragons and their emperor at its heart.
